Thats why we never seem to win with him on! Allman is MILES better than Standen though I am not apportioning blame on Standen today as I havent heard the reports but on the other hand Allman seems to have had a nightmare today but yet again until reports in full come back we will have to reserve judgement on players performances. Was the substition made today a wrong un'.After some of us have been going on about the lack of substitutions was todays an error of judgement.Or was it enforced through injury to Donovan. Without knowing the state of play it does look like the defence fell apart after he had gone off.Lets face it we had just got back to 2-1 & back into the game when the substitution was made.

Sometimes a sub works sometimes it dosent Unless it was an enforced substitution then it could well have been one of those changes that was wrong in making today.Still,I would be amazed to know that it wasnt an injury as CK never seems to like to change things much.

I never expected to get anything out of this game anyway despite high hopes so we must go on & get three points for DEFINATE in our next game.

[color:"blue"] Consolation today is that results for teams below us were: Wealdstone & Hendon losing, Maldon & Redbridge drawing and only Windsor winning. The two teams above us - Harrow & Slough - also lost, so the gap above us doesn't widen.

Interesting to see Mitten has been dropped although it doesn't seem to have helped. Assume Behcet is on loan til end of season. How did Protheroe play? Was Donovan injured or poor as I cannot see why Standen would replace him?
