After this weekend Town have 2 home games left and BOTH are potentialy VERY BIG in terms of our season and next season.

 

Why don't the Club send out a Free Child Voucher / Ticket, to all the schools in the Borough for the 1st April game v Stamford.

 

Then at that match, give all the kids with a voucher a second ticket, which will get them in FREE if they bring an Adult to the Enfield Game on the 15th.

 

Now that should help increase the crowd and increase revenue.

 

Think of all the extra sweets / drinks we will sell.

very good idea, but logistics this late i dont see to be a bit of a problem but our game against enfield should be a very viable option

good idea, and unless im mistaken (which rarely happens!) has been done before, i know the flyers given out at the Town show or whatever it is called had similar things on

You don't need a voucher, just a word in the ears of the local editors of the Gazette, Advertiser and Independent. Give them the storyline and announce that 'All children admitted free with an accompanying full paying adult.' Simple!

 

Then whilst they are here, sell them the idea of the club.

this is the problem we do not have enough "someones". you are more than welcome to come along and help; others have and new helpers are always welcome

The point I was making is that these ideas are meant to be helpful and money making for the Club.

Are you saying that our programme printers could not knock out a simple voucher / ticket at minimal cost? Cos I don't believe it if the answer is no.

We've tried it before so why not have a sensible ideas thread whereby all ideas are given some thought and put to the board for their approval. There is no reason why people cannot look at other clubs' ideas and use them as a starting point.

 

People would have to think about cost, resources, time, man/woman power, how to progress the idea, what the exit strategy would be, etc.

 

If the ideas are sound, then there is no reason why they cannot be taken on board. However, not every idea to either generate money or new business could be tried out at the same time.

if you are offering to pay for this then I am sure it can be considered, but I don't believe it is in the budget
