Yeah.Tough choice

Who are you kidding Dave?

A few Town supporters occassionaly go to watch the ladies games on Sundays, but i seriously doubt any Town supporter would choose to watch the Ladies instead of Enfield Towns first team.(Maybe apart from Beardsley)

So how many Towners won't go to either then?.

Why not share the support around? Go to the first half in Barnet, applaud the girls off the pitch at half time and then dash straight over to Brimsdown to watch the second half of Town v W&F. I was tempted to do a similar thing last season when ‘City were away at Canvey Island on the same night Town played at Basildon United (wish I had as we lost 4-0).

I’ve often wondered how many Town fans actually get down to watch the ETFC games and Enfield Town Ladies. I would imagine that there may even be more Town fans who drop in to Ware as occasional observers of the other ‘other’ team!

On another thread, someone recently mentioned that the true ETFC fans were the 63 that turned up at Brook House. I would suggest that the away match at Wingate & Finchley was a better indicator of Town’s loyal support as these were the fans that put Club before Country! (England were playing Wales).

See you tomorrow and good luck to the Ladies against Barnet!

I think I might have to follow the ladies as I had better carry out my press duties but my thoughts will be at Brimmo.

( I could try this )

I guess this means the flag will be travelling with you too! I can't remember being at a Town game where I haven't seen your flag on display. Good luck to the Ladies and well done for yesterday.

I didn't make it to Corby as I was too ill and the games that I had to miss last season i gave the flag to someone else to put up so it was a while since it aint been at a game.

(didnt go up during second half saturday as my hands were too cold to tie it)

I don't doubt it! If you were even half as cold as we were on Canvey Island then you deserve the 'True' credit. I was hoping one of these games would fall foul of the weather so I could get to both fixtures.

Where do you stand on the Club v Country debate Southport?

Final result last night was an entertaining 2-1 defeat. Two errors in the first half put as 2 down at the break but a stunning free kick by Jenna Schillaci from out on the right sideline that curled into the far top corner was not enough although we pinned them back in their penalty area for the last ten minutes of play.

Thanks to the mens team my flag will now be at TWO county cup finals.
