another all important game at the stadium on saturday against a well drilled but never the less ordinary mid table team. Can we kill this lot off quickly, probably, will we, you never know with the urchins. Do we need to, dead right, look at the daylight between us and wealdstone. they have a tough one at home to arlesey and could well slip up, reckon a draw up there so lets have a win please urchins. home draws do not get promotion, three points are needed.

Keep in touch with this post for pitch and weather updates on the game on Saturday.

Friday 11am, pitch cut and rolled, wet but more than playable. More rain is expected.

If its off you can all come over Rush Green Road (not literally). We are at home to the mighty Brentwood. We will even let you stroke the nodding dogs, providing you take them for a walk at half time.

Saturday 9.50am

Heavy rain overnight but the pitch has drained, it's wet, but playable. A decision has been made not to call for an early inspection so, if the rain holds back, we will definately play. Forecast, Sunny spells and showers! Bring your raincoats and brolly's.

11.35am

Pitch has drained but is very wet, our groundsman say's that it is playable and therefore it looks on. Another view will be taken in one hour.

How can you even think about watching rugby when you can watch the Urchin mean machine, mind you, pitches like this definately favour the opposition, welcome to another 'Ryman' winter.....bring 'B Trialist' we'll introduce him to the 'boro basher'
