Player of the season

Going to be an intersting one this year. Metcalfe was an early contender, but got injuted. Josias looked to be running away with it but of late his form in the last 10 or so games has not been up to his high standards.

Then Wilko had a brief period before injury - so now it's probably down to Clark Masters or Hodgie!

i think mccleary could be in with a shout, if not finishing first then not far off, imo his arrival was the turning point in our season

Help me out here-what turning point, most football experts would say we are struggling ???

Personally, I think it has to be Hodgie. He has scored 20 plus goals in a side that let's be honest has not had the best of seasons. Many of those goals have been absolutely vital in securing points and his commitment to the cause and workrate are outstanding.

Whilst we ended up getting spanked in both our recent games against Fisher the marked difference between the two performance can simply be put down to Hodgie's presence.

I also think there should be some award for Wilko, unless Sue can persuade him again, surely this will be his last season.

I think him and Daly have been vital as our older heads, especially before christmas when we looked in freefall, but Martin's right Hodge's is the man who gets the goals when we really need them.

For me it has to be Daly, he always has a good game, and bearing in mind Avery took a while to settle in he has done really well. For example,we would have been pulverised at Wealdstone if not for Daly. Hodges is a very close second as I agree to score that many games in a moderate team is superb, but it's Daly for me.
