How many points do you think we will get this year? this time last year we hit our worst period. we never won a game in March save the KSC one. Do you think the fourth place relegation spot will come into play considering all the re organisation that is going to go on and clubs struggling to exist? What do you think?

Geoff I don't see how they could change the rules in the middle of a season so I personally do believe the fourth relegation spot will still be there at the end. Six points before Easter Monday and we should be ok though as for us to then be pulled into the worst of the fourth from bottom teams BOTH the Southern league strugglers and the Northern league strugglers would have to pick up in the region of 10-12 points which I believe will be out of the question.

I know I have said it before & been terribly wrong (last years mortgage) but I really cant see us going down this year despite everything. I am sure we WILL pick up some points along the way(some where we least expect it) & avoid that embarrassment.Besides we just HAVE to be here next season even if its just to take those Rms down a peg or two.Mind you,we still are a long way from that ideal team at the moment i.m.o but come the start of next season I still believe we WILL have that team to mount a challenge.We had better had anyway after all this seasons excuses(some acceptable).

AS I have said before I think 45 points will be enough to not be in the bottom 4 positions. So, where will those elusive 7 points come from?

 

Well 3 MUST be against Hendon. Another 3 at least should also come against Windsor & Eton so 1 more draw should be enough but I thnk we should get a result against Leyton and secure draws against Folkestone Worthing and Heybidge.

 

So if my maths is corect that will mean a total of 49 points not massive but hopefully enough.

The problem is I don't want us to leave it until the final three games because there will be immense pressure on the players by then if that is the case. Hendon on the final day if we leave it til then would be like a cup final and anyones game. I think we need six before Folkestone to take the pressure off. Four or five wouldn't be a disaster but no less please.

Well,GW its all down to the team to save everyone from last minute nerves.Only they can produce results and win points so we will just have to keep hoping wont we?

Agree that 49 points will be enough, but imo 47 ma not be.

As much as that!!! if we carry on the way we are we will be lucky to get 6! Sorry to feel very negative but thats the way i feel at the mo and i'm sure many others do 2.

Once Hasim Deen and Pat Gradley get back into the team i think we will start improving again. When ever Gradley isnt playing we dont do well and vise versa. We will stay up though and i am sure of that.

Not sure why you think Gradley is the answer. He is too injury prone and missed most of last season as well as this as a result. There were times last season when I felt he was very ordinary although I accept in the few appearances he has made this season he has improved but has he completed 90 minutes at any point? I will be surprised if he is offered another contract not necessarily on ability terms but fitness. Harsh as it may sound we cannot afford to carry passengers.

We are only 3 points better off than the 4th bottom teams Lincoln United in the Unibond and Northwood in Southern Premier and, more crucially, 4 clear of Hendon but their next 2 games are definitely winnable. I think it will go down to the wire and the last match against Hendon (I hope I'm wrong as my nerves will be in shreds!)
