west ham will make a 50/100 difference to our gates depending on who we are playing....

 

the fact remains that a cup game that we are expected to win after 5 games in 13 days with excellent gates does tend to deminish the gates somewhat by apathy....

First you can't make it because you are half gay, then you have a sly pop (from the comfort of your own home) at the Urchins attendance.

 

Maybe if there were less plastic fanss (ahem) out there, the gate would have been higher?

 

I hope we don't have to slate you for a poor attendance in the 2nd leg, that you will no doubt be fully recovered for!!!

Hmmmm...I do think the amount of games we've had over the last few days/weeks makes a difference...attendance fatigue....

 

Then there's the West Ham/Arsenal fans that went to their respected teams....

 

As well as the fact we've won the league some may think "oh well doesn't matter"...

 

...Then you've got the fact it was the cup, people sometimes can be less bothered with the cup...and the fact some thought the result was a foregone conclusion...
