i had to write something to boost the postings!

Imagine my shock/horror when I logged on for the first time in 2 days today (I forgot my password, my email broke and I can't really go on here at work) and saw that I had a whopping 428 posts to read (and I don't even go on the football forum). At first I thought wow!! well done everybody, then I started to wonder if this was really such an achievement after all. Has anyone tried doing a count which does not include any postings by MAD?

As I read more and more of the posts these thoughts also occurred to me.

Have I suddenly become very old? - Blur were the very first band I ever saw (Alexandra palace 1994) and I didn't even know they had a new single out.

Does SSL really work in a cake factory? - I once had a friend who did, and I don't think he had access to the internet!

Could posting be an addiction? If so, could Colin Zeal accept a challenge and try not to provide a single posting tomorrow ( I suspect not)

Will GHA and Chubhead ever realise what everyone else can clearly see?

Will I ever learn to use grammar correctly~

Should I have put each of these thoughts on a separate thread and helped the postings total?

There was an auction as to who would send an abusive e-mail to your good self, and CZ put in £301, beating Laz by 57p. Therefore he sent it. My bid of a packet of crisps was treated with contempt.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. I could move it onto another forum though and we could all play hunt the thread.

 

I also like the Ald€rsh0t analogy, all we need are a few mentions of George Borg and some general moaning/arrogance and we're there.

By the way. City are cr@p. Sack the board, sack the management etc. I hate this club, ever since we reformed in 1992 it's been downhill all the way. And our current gates of over 1,000 are ridiculously low as well.
