Good to see this thread continues to thrive, was never started for personal kudos, started as something else and has just grown. Unlike deliberate attempts to set records. Ah, Guinness. The good old black stuff. A man's drink, that. Bit like petrol.

 

Interesting thread, this. I personally prefer the Boss himself (Bruce Springsteen) to any of the Beatles, but then I prefer Zack De La Rocha to the Boss. I prefer St. Albans City to Rage Against The Machine but City's albums are cr@p.

 

Masons. Stonecutters. Simpsons. Absolutely love it. But someone needs to answer for me the eternal question.

BTW. I believe I have come to a compromise, that could resolve the tension between Zeal and EFMTFTV.

 

EFMTFTV ignores any posts about the Beatles, even if it is ever so tempting to say they were cr@p etc.

 

The 'Ripped Off Longest Thread' etc, started by EFMTFTV, is ended. I start a new thread, exactly the same title and concept, and so the memory lives on. Therefore, EFMTFTV doesn't mind because he doesn't care about his name being associated with the longest thread, and Zeal doesn't ignore the thead because he believes EFMTFTV wants his name to be on the longest thread.

 

Fair?

I just find that music one boring cos you come on here in the morning and find that there's been 20-odd new posts on it, and you know it's just gonna be a list of songs. Hardly thought-provoking.

 

It's like those annoying people who come on here and just write LOL or LMAO. <img src="/forums/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />
