P*ssing Myself Laughing!!!!

Recommended Posts

Don't get too excited - not very difficult to out-number the Fisher home support is it?

Yes - crap result for the Clarets today, but good to see the attendance spiralling UP again.

Play offs? - yes, we can all 'av a laugh - Both the Clarets and Ricay are no hopers (THIS SEASON that is).

And please note - I didn't use your name once in the posting Gazza - Oh bugger!!!

Not so sure about that. Staines & Hampton are definately "wobbling" at the mo. Still plenty of points to be had from the last 8 games for us, 6 of which are to lower opposition.

BC, crowd on the up? I thought your predictive crowds were supposed to be in four figures?

I don't think so G - if you backtrack through the archives, I think you'll find we anticipated a hardcore of 600 - 800 once everything settled down. But with a bit of success in the future, who knows?

I'm a little disappointed at City's crowds. When the topic of a move to MP was first mooted it was a common held view by City fans that regular 1500 gates were on the cards. I thought at the time too many were getting carried away as MP is no New Writtle Street. My guess at the time was 1000 would be nearer the mark, I've had to re-consider and think they'll settle around 600-700 if you continue being a mid-table side, so about the figure Margate get and this is still more than respectable for this level of football.

A sensible assessment Ozbrit. However, we're hoping the Clarets don't intend to continue being a "mid-table side" for too much longer - we'll need to wait and see.

Once Chelmsford and Canvey merge then there will be a crowd of over 1000 at MP.

As for the play off place, all we can do now is to try and win every game, hope the others slip up.

Play offs. Before Saturday I said we needed to win all 8 games to have a chance so you need something similar.

Your games with AFC Wimbledon and Hampton will be crucial but I think youve left it too late for this season.
