Billericay 2-0 Fisher

A most enjoyable day out i must say and a great team performance. My man of the match was without doubt Dorms who i dont remember putting a foot wrong in defence all afternoon. The return of Wazza gave our midfield some extra zip and as ever Nathan ran his socks off for the cause up front. The only two positions i'm not sure about are wide left and who to partner Nathan up top. Collins i feel should be given the nod on Tuesday as he looks far sharper than Hodges (who didn't seem too happy at being taken off) at the moment and i'd probably start with Flack ahead of Tom though i'm yet to be convinced he is the long term answer to replacing Hockton.

Leon slots home the pen to put us one up yesterday.

superb result. I think Warren deserves some credit as he had a great game in midfield. He did owe the club that one but even so he looked composed and very solid.

Dormer had a great game too, reckon he will start there tomorrow night. I dont think you could say any of our lads had a bad game.

just goes to show what we can do when it all clicks at the same time. I think its all down to the flag!!

Still feeling a bit of a gutted Fish today...

Well done Billericay you beat my boys fair and square, bad day at the office for the Fish. Unfortunately they're becoming all too frequent at Champion Hill these days!

Think it was the flag that done it..!

See you in the Cup final!

Well, Mr. Fish, I must say, credit to you for coming back and posting. Yep, it is a bit gutting after giving it large, that the day doesn't go as planned. We've been on the end of that one this season.

As regards your last comment, I hope that isn't a "murrry".

Regarding the performance of players, I would agree with everyone that Warran and Dormer were superb but they were well supported by the rest of the team. I was impressed by Danny Brown. He certainly is getting better and is starting to settle down. I could name every player but won't, everyone played their part superbly.

One more point...we kept a clean sheet. A rarity this season. Now, lets build on this and end the rest of the season with a high!!!

Well Gazz I'm not afraid to express views and opinions hence they've voted me onto the new Supporters Club committee!..shame we've only got 30 odd members but there you go!

Wanna join?

I'm equally prepared to accept and admit when I'm wrong. You looked a different side to the one I saw at New Lodge back in October. Well organised and Elder looked a good player.

Poor old Dukes (Duku) had a bit of a shocker but has usually been a rock this season so we'll forgive him a dodgy performance.

We've got a lot of technically good players but we're a little lightweight against the big, well organised sides. As for the cup final your semi is too close to call. Bromley are tricky opponents but you've got a great chance...

Excellent performance. Elder ran Duku ragged all game and banged in a well deserved goal. The 2-0 scoreline was the best bit of stick Edinburgh could ever receive.

Good to see Pullan still likes a bite or two!

Has anyone checked the physio room at Fisher yet?

I echo Gazza's comment - fair play to you Mr Fishy for an honest post after the game. Shame we didn't get to meet up in the bar, you had your supporters meeting, Gazza had to rush home for a do and I was a bit pre-occupied keeping an eye on my two year old to be sociable. Remember him ? He was the cheeky lad with the Rod Stewart hair on the stage before the game and running around trying to pinch the players curry and rice afterwards...ooops! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

BTW Ricay fans, my Nathan's amazing record goes on - it's now ten games seen, 6 wins and 4 draws, NO DEFEATS !! Not that he actually watched much of the game...

Errr not really, pre game I was concentrating 100% on the supporters meeting, couldn't hear anything but it seemed like a good discussion...

After the game I crawled out of the gate with my tail between my legs a few seconds after the final whistle.

I did though see one of your kids hit his head on the stage whilst running around pre game, didn't cry though...I would of, sounded painful!
