Wooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

 

Excellent result and a much needed 3 points putting us within 7 of the playoffs!!!

 

What are people's thoughts as to whether the playoffs are still a possibility? Personaly, although it'll take alot of work and some luck thrown in too, I still think that finishing 5th is an achievable target.

After last saturdays 2-2 I was not especially optimistic about reaching the playoffs, but if we can continue like this...

Fantastic result, & a good day all round. Fisher & Swifts losing plus Hampton, Staines & Worthing only managing Draws. Hopefully on Tuesday Harrow can do to AFC what they did to Braintree back in December. It's all getting quite close!

Brilliant performance yesterday. Everyone did well, but I think the key was we looked stronger at the back and I thought Dormer was excellent not playing in his more familiar midfield role. Brown had his best game for us so far. It felt like a home game with the brilliant blues support.

We need to follow up this good win with some wins against some of the lower sides in the league. We've now got Margate, Windsor, Leyton and Wealdstone and if we get close to maximum points we've got a very good chance of the playoffs. Could do with Heybridge doing us a favour on Tuesday against Walton.

i thought the turning point was probably in the first minute when fisher hit the post, may have been a different game then. however from that point on i can only recall ricky having to make one save and perhaps the biggest compliment to our team is to say that we looked pretty comfortable.

 

the benefits of a defensive organiser are clear and i also thought ryan did well on his return to the team.

 

i shall clearly have to keep tipping us to lose ;~)
