Some, er, interesting chants in the second half. I think I can safely say that is the first, and probably only time, you'll hear "hermaphrodite" used in a football chant. Well, a chant at a football ground.

Despite not playing that great today I thought we were always in control of the match. Just one scare when Clark had to make an outstanding double save.

 

Horrible windy day which made football difficult. Thought Alexis played very well in midfield today and Daly and Avery also had very good games.

 

Two more wins in the final games left should guarentee us safety.

Great dive for the penalty. The substitute who chopped him down proved to be completely brainless. Hodgey was the only player within 20 yards of the ball and had little else he could.

 

Agree with Chris that we controlled the game - but there was very little action in either goal mouth. The save from Clark was awesome though.

 

I see that Hendon only got a draw in the end - 9 points clear of them now.

I feel we are safe and Maldon, Windsor and Redbridge are doomed.

Not the best day to play football, but we needed that win badly.
