Nope! and you can blame the Conference <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

They made a lot of fuss when they had to come in at the 3rd Qualifying Round and got us exempted to the Final Qualifying Round.

 

Then of course the prize money went up...............

It certainly reduces the number of games .

I'm sure Alan W can work it out , but we must have played a lot less games than at this stage last season .

Believe it or not up to last Saturday, over all competions we've only played two games less than last season, 22 to 20 (not including friendlies). These include 17 League, 4 F.A. Cup and 1 F.A. Trophy games last season. Compared to 18 League, 1 F.A. Cup, 1 Charity Shield, plus last weekend which was a free week. I knew we'd played less, but like you I thought it was a lot less.
