Is it a one-leg semi?

If we fiinish 2nd, will the Semi be played at Clarence Park?

The Final is at Broadhill Way, should we get there, surely a big advantage?

If it's like last season then you will have home advantage if you finish 2nd or 3rd and it will be just the one leg.

Then surely even if we do finish second, we will be in such a good position to get to the final, and with it being so local, win the damm thing!

It is a 1-leg semi with the 2nd/3rd team getting home advantage!

 

Although with so many team in and around the play offs that can't or won't go up we'd have a good chance of getting a bye to the final!

 

Do we know if Farnborough will be able or will want to go up?

 

Lewes, Cambridge and Eastleigh are the others that can't as far as I know!

Which of the teams would have difficulty in being allowed to get promoted?

 

I know Cambride are in financial trouble, but how would that stop them from getting promoted?

 

And why wouldn't Farnboro be allowed to go up?

 

And why wouldn't Lewes be allowed to get promoted?

 

And same goes for Eastleigh?

Cambridge say they are resigning. They haven't done it yet but that is what they said.

 

Lewes' ground doesn't have a grading (or so I am told).

 

Eastleigh haven't applied (or so I am told).

According to rumour, Lewes' ground doesn't meet the Conference Nationale grading and they haven't applied to be accepted for promotion. Eastleigh haven't applied to be accepted either, and if that is, indeed the case, they wouldn't take part in the play-off matches.

 

Those nice people from cambridge City have sold the ground to an undisclosed purchaser for an undisclosed amount and the share-holders have confirmed in the press that they wont be playing in the Conference South, let alone the Conference Nationale next season. They will be the Reserve team to Cambridge United, apparently.

 

Farnborough are rumoured to be in financial difficulties.

 

That will be 175 guineas plus Value Added Tax. My fee account is in the post.

Nope, the only eligable clubs are the ones that finish between 2-5!

 

Lewes finished 4th last season and couldn't compete so Cambridge City, finishing 2nd, got a bye to the final!

 

In a ideal world we'll have Lewes, Cambridge and Eastleigh in the play offs

Looks like we're gunna have to overcome either Farnboro, Welling or Havant at Broadhill Way for a place in the Conference!!
