This is a list of teams who applied to move up - the "yes" means they are in the top three.

The "no" means they are not

I have kept them in league order.

W/D means they have withdrawn their application.

So far two clubs - Brook House and Winchester - have officially met the ground gradings.

There are 31 places and 45 possible clubs in the top three of the 15 leagues.

Note that the Northern League and Western Leagues are not likely to have any clubs at all eligible - so that makes 31 out of 39.

Apologies for the very long posting.

Mr Dagger 04

I promised myself I would not get interested in this restructuring mess, but I have obviously become too tempted.

Am I right in thinking that as the plans stand at present (subject to any appeals from the adhesive people)there is going to be one new level 4 league. So your 31 places is made up of one new league (be it 22 or 24 plus existing promotion spots to other leagues.

Also what will happen to Ryman 2 teams who don't go up? Is this season finnaly the end of Ryman 2? and is there still relegation this season from level 4?

Unless I'm mistaken the plans are to restructure Ryman 1, lose Ryman 2 and reorganise the two southern leagues into more geographically cohesive set ups. I think there is talk of creating a midlands based division from the Southern and I would imagine Unibond leagues.

From all those yes and no's I would hope that there would be a preference on top placed sides and any play offs would be between the lower placed sides.

Dagger, help I'm drowning in verbal spaghetti.

In very simple terms, five leagues are being proposed, split geographically.

For teams from "lower" divisions, there are 31 places available - there are fifteen "lower" leagues, with up to three teams from each league being eligible - so that makes 31 places and 45 teams.

As two of the leagues (the Northern and the WL) are likely to have no eligible teams, this makes it 31 places and 39 teams.

There is of course also the likelihood that some teams in higher divisions may drop out, and of course there is also the possibility that some of the eligible teams may not be able to meet the grading requirements.

I have no idea how the final structure will emerge, though I would guess that the champions of the various leagues will be accommodated, assuming they meet the grading requirements.
