Bigot's view of the York City game

There's a difference between hoping for a top ten finish (which all teams do, of course) and accepting that 11th place would be a strong finish for a side in transition from part-time to full-time football.

I said looking at not hoping for.is a difference looking at in my eyes is trying for,a goal to aim at.as hoping for gives a lack luster if all goes well, well maybe type of attitude. settling for.I am not willing to settle for 11th, i want to win our remaining games and finish in top ten.

Having reached a fairly secure mid-table position with games in hand against lower placed teams, if Liam had possessed any genuine ambition to progress to the fringes of the play-offs he wouldn't have chosen his ultra cautious tactics against Scarborough and Crawley when we lost 4 points we really should have won. I don't believe that he has yet tried to explain what on earth he was trying to achieve in these games.

I never once said a mid table position would be disappointing, if we could finish in 11th and guarantee that last LDV spot by one less goal conceaded I'd take it now.

What I was saying was why try to be ultra defensive? While I'd take 11th now I don't want to see us scrape it by drawing our way there. I want to see the manager try something a little different, play three up front, take the game to the opposition, go to a play off contender and venture out of our own half and perhaps try to win.

With your ultra paranoid schizophrenia that can't take criticism and always feels like your being attacked your starting to sound like a club employee...*

*Our club employees are wonderful.

I concur with you on this.
