yes i did hugely enjoy the win of the £60 today.... marcus was just gutted he bought the coffees and i bought the raffle tickets today!

It shall mostly be spent on petrol (not as someone 'kindly' suggested.... on beer) with a nice meal somewhere for marcus and i when the nasty uni work is all out the way...oh and about £5 was spent on buying metclafe and hodges a drink at the bar for having the cheek to ask!

as marcus said, "you'd better not make a habit out of winning or ian'll try to get himself sent off every game!"

Fisher are an excellent side, full of ex league professionals, and there No 5 Duku completely controlled the back. It's just a bit gutting, that a team that brings 12 supporters have some rich git bankrolling them and completely rebuilding their ground.

Without Hodges we were very tame in front of goal - too much passing, not enough shooting, but I know what Slough are like, and if the babies not coming, i'll go and watch us at the Hamlet.

Looked a lot better with Ballard in centre mid than in defence. Lost all leadership at the back when Daly went off and consequently they then had a host of chances with far too much time and space in and around our box.

If we started off with wingbacks, Carbon should have started on the right. Still can't quite figure out what the starting formation was with Ballard in the middle and Avery at left back? Was it a 4-4-1-1?

Moleski wasn't comfortable or effective in behind McCleary, who could really have done with a target man alongside him to feed off of. All in all, a dreadful performance on so many levels. Was quite glad to stay in the bar and not have to have seen it twice.

I am another who only saw the first half hour. But I don't know what formation we were playing and felt that the line up selected was bizarre. With G up front we should have had someone with more of a physical presence supporting him or alongside him. I am sure George is the first to admit that he is not going to impose himself against 6ft 4 centre halves. We know Ballard is more effective in midfield so it was a huge backward step to push him into defence. The game was over as a contest before it started.

Let's know just forget that and start again tonight. Hopefully we were lulling them into a false sense of security.
