Can anyone tell me the age limit for going throught the child entrance? I turned 16 recently and I'm not sure if it's under 16s or not.

I believe it is 16 that makes you an adult as there was a discussion about this with regard to season tickets.

 

Ring the club to be sure though.

Look forward to new ground on assumption that the turnstiles cater for the "fuller" figure i.e. one would be able to get through them easily, as opposed to the current ones, which I appreciate were designed for the 1950's thin man !

yeh see that's the problem, they might stop letting me though soon, even if it is under 18s.

One thing that worries me, and I hope that the new place will solve this, is that there is no way to go through the turnstiles with my child. Normally not a problem, but at the Accrington and Canvey games there were fairly long queues for the adults and much shorter ones for the kids.

Whilst I am sure that all Fleet fans are lovely people, I was a little concerned that my son would be on the other side of the gate to me for a good 5 minutes in amongst the hustle and bustle of strangers. In this day and age, it left me quite concerned and I am sure that if his mother knew that this happened she would think twice about letting him go.

Is there no way that this could be rectified? Heaven forbid if something untoward happens

when i took two kids with me the other week we all went through season ticket holders gate.

Even if you buy season tickets next year Gaspode you will still have the same problem at cup games, it is, unfortunately, a big failing in the clubs admission policy that young children are forced to fend for themselves and leaves many parents unhappy.

You buy your family ticket at the season tickets holders gate in my experience, and all enter the ground via that gate as a group,but this may only be available if there is more than 2 of you.

Mind you he could of stood with you in your queue until the queues were equal then joined the childs queues, just food for thought.But i fully understand your fears.

If there are three or more in your party then family tickets from comps gate as said before. The only other option is to ask a steward to accompany your child 'till you are through.
