In a heroic attempt to ready his beloved Hartsdown Park pitch Ray has shifted 660 gallons of water in just 3 hours.

The pitch holds a tremendous amount of water beacuse of a [****!!****]-up with the drainage when it was installed. The game is 50/50 for tommorrow according to Ray.

Never realised tere was a drainage issue.

 

We have been mega lucky with weather to date then as every game pre_wombles was dry.

 

Sounds like pitch would otherwise cut up easily,and maybe our excellent playing surface is not quite as good as it at first seems
