give us a brief run down on saturdays events when u get in monday morning..far to many posts to trawl thru here and i'd prefer to hear the action first hand

Basically we were all standing up at the top of the stand, the stewards kept telling us to sit down, which we did, when we got close to our area we stood up, we started singing songs like "stand up if you love the saints" which we did and "sit down if you love the saints" which we also did. They gradually got more annoyed and one of them even tried to hit someone (he was chucked out and sacked). Then they started picking people out asking for a quiet chat before throwing them out (I was told by someone that they heard the stewards just saying to each other we'll throw him out next and basically doing just that) we were told we were being chucked out for using foul and abusive laungage. It was a joke, even the police aggreed with us, we were in the pub with their supporters during the game, all banned as well for standing etc.

 

That was basically it ruined a otherwise great day. CZ, Laz your veiws now!

You are correct about selecting people to eject. Surprising how many with v. short hair were thrown out! Recalling well now the stewards had you marked and watched. That woman was the worst. 2 of the 5 coppers sent to "control" stated "this is private property, the club makes the rules" hmmm an interesting view if charged with a public order offence. would that not mean any disobedience of the sit down requests would be a "civil" case. I think the lets have a quiet word and then eject policy is to avoid winding up the others it does not work. As I recall you were in the process of sitting down when "pulled". Interesting comments of support to our lads on Marions Board.
