Depends whether you mean the "avatar" which appears under most people's details in the left column or to attach an image to a message.

To add/change your avatar...

• Click on the "My Home" link, top left of the menu bar above
• In the "Main Configuration" section, click the top "Edit" hyperlink (for "Personal information..." etc.)
• Scroll about halfway down the page and just past the bit where you can add the club you support, favourite player and favourite sport is the bit where you can add an avatar
• Either upload your own (no bigger than 80x80), link to one on the internet (also no bigger than 80x80) or choose one of the stock images
• Make any other changes you want at the same time
• Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page

You may, like I just did, get faced with a screen full of error messages (all "Permission denied" in my case). If so, go in again and check that your changes have taken place OK (mine had).

To attach an image to a message, go to the relevant bit of the FAQ.

Why is it impossible for me to register?I have in the past been sent a password,but each time I have unable to confirm it,because it is not possible to get an E-Mail to you.I now find that each time I try to register now all I get is notification of error,can anybody suggest a remedy,or must I remain in the wilderness?.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

the password is case sensitive to try typing in exactly as sent!!

When the message "failed to open screen" is displayed across my screen each time I try to register,or ask for help directly,is the fault my end,or is the problem Fans Focus end?.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

Today I have registered 4 times,received 4 different passwords,sent off 4 confirmation eails.The emails are not being received at fans focus.I send about 80 emails a week,and this is the only site I have a problem with,I need to register,because the club I support (Eastleigh) will not accept anything from an unregistered user.Is there a solution? I do not know what cookies are,and I do not know what rebooting means(am I really that illiterate?)Should I support a club that accepts emails from unregistered supporters,or throw my computer away?.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />
