Maybe it's when you first walk through the gate's you are treated so well..from the steward's ..the girl's behind the bar..lot's of smiling face's and great value for money..plus everyone feel's there part of the club..there is no them and us at afc hornchurch..it's our club..

What is it that I love about the Urchins?

 

Where to begin?

 

I love the whole picture baby! From the team to the bar staff to my fellow supporters to the officals(not ref's).

 

I used to love going to the Urchins years ago but now that has been enhanced 10 fold having made a few friends in the last year or so adding a social atmosphere to what goes on out on the pitch.

(AFC)Hornchurch has inadvertantly changed some things in my life for the better also. Believe in fate? I do now!

I moved to Hornchurch 5 years ago having lived in West London all my life. I've always loved football, but to play rather than support. AFCH changed all that, it's my team and even though I'm back in West London again now, it always will be. It's everything... but the fans probably top the list of reasons. I for one will never forget that second half at Boston where we sang that ground into submission at such a difficult time.

What I love about Hornchurch is us fans, the social bit. Standing on the Eastside having a good laugh and joke. Slating the opposition or the ref. Cheering on the boys. Singing on the Terrace. Everything about the Urchin community. Wouldn't wanna be anywhere else for the world...
