each week, they're doing a more and more bizarre "you're the ref" they're getting really funny.

 

e.g. a team has used all their subs up and their maverick midfielder has had an argument about his contract and each time his team attacks, deliberately goes offside. his manager is screaming at you and him to get him off the pitch....

In that situation he can only leave the field because of injury,so i would instruct one of his own players to injure him.

Ahem, I'm glad that's out of my system, I can only apologise for my typing errors, but I accept the thanks for at least trying as I'm sure that's what you both meant.

haha. can you imagine that? ref calls over the captain. "oi, number 6. clatter that twat up there would you? there's a good chap."

 

ref cannot instruct a player to injure another.

Talking of bizarre things, about 12 years ago, there was a couple of UEFA trials run in the Isthmian League, one was the kick in/throw in, twas your choice and the other was a third sub who had to be a keeper.

Our erstwhile manager Don McGovern - who was in charge of Collier Row at the time - would use two subs, then would call the ref when the ball had gone out of play, and instruct goalkeeper Allen McKnight to swap shirts with an outfield player. Then the next time the ball went dead, he simply put on a third sub for the keeper, who promptly swapped shirts with McKnight again.

Simple but effective, but boy did it apparently

p!ss off the opposition!!

haha, that is quality loophole exploiting rule bending.

 

i really can't wait for next weeks.

 

they also had one where a dog bites the keeper during a shootout injuring him, but saves the penalty being taken. i think. it was [****!!****] bizzare.
