Proves the need for a strong youth side bringing that talent through. I'd hate to lose anyone especially those mentioned on here already, but if they make it at higher level then good luck to them.

 

The Urchins are a club that should be able to attract talent with our fantastic set up, crowds, pitch etc. It's not good to see players go, but we shall endure.

 

Saying that, talent scouts are vultures that cannot be trusted and it's way better for the best players to stay and learn their trade with a good club like ours than festering in the boot room at Selhurst Park..... isnt it?

Players come to HX and when they are with good players it improves their game.

I can remember a Centre Forward we had who was illegally approached by another local club and they got their come uppance as well. No names as is correct but it goes on the whole world over.

Also a young Urchin who had the chance to go to Liverpool or Celtic but chose us, a great compliment.

Mind you it's not only the playing staff, I understand rentacrowd has approached the Riverside with a view to hiring them out for a local derby!

I would hate to see Drakey go, he is such a talented player. It had been good to see him play of late and he's ability to never give up is a really positive for him. We don't want Tiffers to go either nor King, Heale, Bostock etc etc etc. All invaluable.

Got to agree with you on this PM, it's a great buch of lads and it's easy to see they have a great team spirit.

I think out club captain is back from his ban soon too, can you imagine?

They've come so far this season. I think that if we played the FA Cup game against Worthing next week we'd beat 'em or certainly give 'em a run for their money. When we played the Cup/Vase games we were outplayed but we've come so far and gelled really well since then.

Yep the fella has about 3 weeks left, has not missed a training session as long as I've been there and is fit and ready.

Also represented the players at Jim's funeral.
