Chris Stowe

Seems as if a Chris Stowe came off the bench for our reserves today against MK Dons, and as there surely can't be another one, it must be your former striker!

 

Anyone know where he's been playing this season? I know he started off with Choules and Carl Taylor at Leyton but didn't he leave at a similar time to them?

 

Always thought he looked to have talent when I saw him play for you.

wotcha mate...hope it is chris cos I always believed in him....wouldn't surprise me if he made it at a higher level as he needed space to be the player that he is and he'll get it up there with you guys...

I will definitely keep you informed if I can find out more. He missed an absolute sitter from what I hear. He always seemed to stick out to me when he played for you after the troubles, whether that was just the bleached hair and the white boots I don't know! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Did seem to have much more ability then most in those games though.




As for the not passing comment, as long as he bows down and passes to Freddy, he'd be fine. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Scored a lovely goal against Wakering, chipped volley from a Benno free kick, told me it was his best. Also I'll never forget the last minute winner in one of the late season games 2005, we all went bananas!

i liked chris stowe as a player but sometimes he tried to do too much and constantly left me banging my head on the eastside railings,but there is no doubt the bloke has talent,good luck to him!

He could stick the ball in the net that lad and played for us during the Choulsey period with passion and belief. If he is at Southend then good luck to the boy, just goes to show the urchins have an eye for talent......on and off the pitch.
