Enjoyed my first season following the Urchins. I've managed 14 games when the O's are not playing. Does anyone remember a game against Corinthian Casuals in Ryman Div 3? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" /> My mate at work (Iain Waghorn) claims to have scored a perfect hat-trick at the bridge. He remembers it was before Bryco Windows came in.

I was there mate, ask him also why Jimbo never turned up to our matches.

We beat the Casuals 4 0 on the last day of our last Ryman Div 3 days, methinks May 2002, lovely sunny afternoon, last goal a gem, backheel by Wolffy and a tuck into the corner by Ollie, wonder if Urchins can scrape it out of the barrel?

Day finished up with everyone invading the delights of Rumford night clubs, my spies tell me that a good time was had by all!

The Casuals were the only recognised "amateur" team then, until a sponsor forked out K28 for them to go and play the Corinthians in Brazil, and good luck to them as well, lovely club, but those shirts!!

Chocolate and Pink quarter shirts. Sky blue shorts and socks, but they have to change strip when playing Dulwich Hamlet. He remembers the 4 - 0 He said they were annihilated that day and could have been more, but Bryco were already on the scene and Hornchurch made it straight to Div 1. The players paid for their own trip to Brazil. He played in the big stadiums. 1 crowd was over 9,000. He's just had to retire from playing (Aged 27), but coaches the kids at Casuals. This is unfortunate as Casuals are playing the 1st game at the new Wembley against Bishop Aukland (Was to be 9th April).

yeh the poor keeper went bananas at the end but they were a good crowd and the samba footie played by us was a sign of things to come!

I remember playing against the not so mighty Urchins when you had to play 2 games on the same night. BBC cameras there first time it had ever happened
