what you going on about? We're aiming for the Champions League mate, aim high!

 

Cheers Chopper, it's been a fantastic season and massive credit has to go to the management, players and the fans for being so loyal to the cause. My mate who watches Grays says they're amazed that the fans still turn up in such numbers. I'm not, we're a proper football club with great people.

 

Brings a tear to my eye.

 

Hornchurch boys, we are 'ere...

The thing is Urchins that when you go up to the depths of SL1E next season you'll still be bombarding us on the ESL message board with your wit and charm because all the other messageboards are DEAD.

 

That's why ETFC visit us on a regular basis.

 

In all seriousness I'm amazed that you've overcome the downside of last season so well and moved forwards and upwards so well.

 

And retained your high support too!

 

It will be interesting to see if they all stay with you when things get tougher and results don't always go your way next season.

 

That's the test of strong support as those that have stayed with the Boro through thick and thin have demonstrated.

 

But nevertheless - good luck!

Just look at the attendances during Choulsey's time for your answers, the faithful were there in number and have returned. A true supporter doesn't change colours just because a couple of results dont go your way. This is a proper club, real fans and we love the place.

 

Playing in the ESL has been great, great banter, new grounds, some good games. Next year, the adventure will begin again and you ESL lot will not be forgotten. Your forums will be littered with banter, I'm sure.

we've given them a season of joy, playing in front of proper crowds who sing and take the rise out of anyone who takes themselves seriously. The forums have buzzed with incisive football debate and they've had the chance to play at the stadium of dreams.....

 

nest season they can look forward to tumbleweed grounds with gazelle loving loons and memories of the boys in red and white as they carved up the league with class and skill. Not much to miss is it now?
