Looking to the future...

We are all gutted about the result yesterday, but must get back behind the team for the rest of the season in the league and as Steve said in the programme, that is the really important thing, but what beyond that?

The local paper this week said that the Club had decided not to pursue the new ground on the allotments site and that this came up at a Slough Council meeting, following on the comments Martin Deaner made to the press last week about the new ground being off because of the proximity to the crematorium. Neither he nor the Council made any comments as far as I can see about what else may happen.

We will support the team to get promoted, but what kind of motivation is it for them or the fans if nobody knows if we have a ground or even a club next season. Have I missed something, or does anybody know what is happening on this?

After the disappointment of yesterday, it would be good to have something to lift us for the rest of the season's battle, and knowing that something was happening on the ground front would help!
