Trust me , I know about weather. The rain will clear from about mid afternoon, turning windy after the centre of the low pressure passes east of the county. Wind will be cyclonic for a while (look it up ) before turning nw'ly

Keep the faith -- it's stopped raining on time-- as I predicted.

It seems to be getting worse and worse, our problem with attendances. It's really no excuse that there's live football on TV, when there's real-life football taking place just down the road. At the moment the only thing keeping our attendances up is the presence of kids who get in for free. This is not a good way for a full time club to operate and something needs to be done sharpish to sort it out.

As for the result, this was perhaps less disappointing than the draws at Forest Green and at home to Scarborough and Crawley, since Hereford are in second, however the longer these results go on the worse our support will be and that is an undeniable fact.

A solid result at York on saturday, preferably with more goals scored, and a win at home to Tamworth should help matters, but it's unthinkable what might happen if both of these games end in defeats, particularly with long-distance away trips coming up in April.

As a newly christened full-time team, we need to finish either as high or higher than we did last season in order to look like we're progressing. Without this improvement the attendance problem will become a serious financial issue. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

First half we played really well I thought. Second we seemed to play as if we were the ones with 10 men with some awful play in the last 15 mins or so.

Was Ross injured? If not it seemed like a bit of a stupid move to take him off.

And Jimmy was easily man of the match

Thought that second half was woeful personally and i will not be rushing back for more of the same any time soon.

And todays bla bla bla bla bla bla bla company man of the match is . . . luuuuukeee mooooore . . . . 'booooooooooo' from the 'massive' crowd . . .

Jacko by a country mile with only slatter challenging the honour.

Truly dire second half. Lost count the number of wasted hooves upfield from either Craig or the back 4. Their keeper threw out to his full backs all night long and every time they looked creative.

Yet again we had no width. Wide midfielders are meant to play wide - not hog the centre circle.

Let us try 30 or 40 fewer backpasses. Even Rawle got into the act, whilst deep in Hereford's half sent a pass back to Smith?, who was surrounded by strikers.

Do we actually practice during training, or is it just fitness work?

Teamwork was simply not apparent 2nd half.

Why oh why was Sodje brought on with less than 5 mins left? Pointless and futile exercise by management seemingly bereft of a plan B when things are going wrong.

With boos ringing around the ground at the end, we need a serious rethink about our tactics, training and match strategy, or the crowds will dwindle even further, results will suffer, and I can see us finishing the season in a worse position than last year.

Having a team of fit, full time youngsters is no substitute for a team of committed, Fleet supporting, experienced and talented part-timers.

As we move into the last part of the season, I can only feel than the change to full time has not yet been the success we all hoped it would be.

There were at least four players out there tonight that are simply not good enough for Conference football. The first half was ok, just, but the second half was appalling. Ryman league size crowd and Ryman standard football. Luke Moore worked hard but Man of the Match? Jacko, no question. I'll maybe write a more positive and coherent post when I've calmed down and sobered up a bit but until then, I will rant until I feel better. Tosh, total tosh.

The last three home games have been terrible. Tonight's performance (first half anyway) was slightly better, but the second half was abysmal. The crowd issue needs addressing - even at our worst in our first season we were never below 750ish (and that was against Kettering, not Hereford!). Once again, like last year, the whole place reeks of 'end of seasoness' too early and most of us want it to finish now. Whether that's an effect of too many evening games too close together, I don't know, but there has been not one iota of positivity in the last 270 minutes of football and I can't see where the next silver lining is coming from.

We're a club desperately in need of some good news, anything at all. Because what's happening on the pitch is now clearly of interest only to a hardcore of 700 or so, and even they're only turning up because they always do!

1st half can't fought us, they went down to 10 men and we hit them with a goal.

then 2nd half where the f**k were we, anyone in the main stand would of seen how annoyed me and a few other fans were getting. Why have we got Sodje back only to either start him or bring him on for about 4 minutes?

Heard Daish on the radio this morning and he said it's like we are afraid to win games and yes a bit but its down to him to make the players "not afraid".

ON a night that they brought next season's ticket prices out wasn't a good viewing, but i will renewing mine only 618 in the ground.

come on let's sort this s**t out COME ON YOU REDS!!

Agree with pretty much everything that has been said on here about last night.

We were truly awful in the second half.

Despite the fact they were down to ten men, they just looked about twice as fit as us.

If we don't get a result at York on Saturday, I fear the attendance and atmosphere will be even less for the Tamworth game.

How Luke Moore got MoM astounded me as he never seems to do anything other than lose possession.

Thought Rawle's holding up was pretty good, we need Charlie back as soon as and hopefully those two will get us going again.

I think it's fair to say that we are in a slump.

Credit to Hereford on the win though. Their second goal was nicely taken.
