Thanks for the info Softie. Not being funny, but I'd have thought that a quick peek at the plans submitted with the original application would tell us what the existing consent is for. If it ain't on the plans you ain't got permission. What are the additional "stands" that we need, standing terraces or seats?

 

Generally speaking, with a few exceptions, even temporary structures require planning permission.

 

Don't forget to check if it needs Buildling Regs consent as well! Most building works do!

The only part of the improvements that will need planning permission are the extra seats.These can be easily incorperated in the ground,as they will be the same stucture as is already in place,and could be easily attached to the extisting stand.I can't see there being too much problem with gaining planning permission (if we havn't already got it).

 

Paying for the improvements might be the bigger challenge for us to overcome.

Do you remember the old club and the number of times it fell foul of some reg or another just because it assumed too much. They can check as many times as they like as far as I'm concerned provided we get a result at the end of it.
