while i was at chelmsford city on friday night me and the others who went notice that chelmsford citys ground rules were different to the other grounds we have been to, and here are some of there rules

no smoking in the ground(only in the bar)

no drumming or loud noise after 9:30

the floodlights have to be turned off at 10:15

and all these rules were made by the concil and if you belive me then ask teabarmark, margate hatter and alex

No drumming or loud noise after 9:30? So were you not allowed to make any noise towards the end of the game? Or had it already finished by that time?

nope it wasn't finshed it had about ten minutes left

Its very believable. If I remember correctly for the last set of plans passed by Council, lights have to be off at 10.30pm-ish (Im not certain but its something like that). The noise was put in probably due to resident concerns. Were there lots of houses about? Smoking at the ground...a strange one but I guess the health and safety inspector wanted it in as a condition.

There was only a small smoking area for supporters outside the bar that was it. I felt very uncomfortable there and that is the first ground i have been to where i felt uncomfortable.

Try going to Hythe and standing at the far end from where you enter.

G W its well worth a visit. Army barracks a stones through from goal- loud enough to make you go death. But it will always be remembered for Kevin Hudson (once of Margate) picking a dead rabbit out of the goal mouth.
