1,047. Though it's fair to say that the FA Trophy (for some AFCW fans) doesn't get the juices flowing as much as the FA Cup or league games.

Of course there will be good reasons should we not exceed that figure JJ. So if it dosent happen,let our friend,FF(apart from Tony Ms of course,l.o.l.Tone) from over the way be aware of this. If we do exceed it,despite other activities then we can just boast anyway. On a winner here I think.

Cookie i am not expecting you to beat 1047. If you where to bring in 1047 it would be a great turn out. I expect you to get 950. Tuesday will really test the loyalty of certain "fans".

Look, I remember an article written in 1970 by a certain Shirley Moss ( bloke ). It appeared in a free rag of the time. The headline said "1500 into 50000 wont go". The population of Margate is now around 57000. Bigger than many towns which have Football League or Conference Nationall teams. A crowd of 1000 against a "split-loyalty club" ( although I wish AFCW great success) ain't very good, even if the Oiks are playing at home at Southwood and Chelski is on the box.

I will be disappointed with 1000 on Tuesday, but will be pleased with anything over 1200. I can't see how any Gate fans could miss the game which is sure to generate the best atmosphere of the season. Other than Chelmsford which from what I have heard was a frozen pitch we have been playing very well lately too. With the help of a sizable away support we can really put on a show on Tuesday in front of hopefully our biggest gate of the season.
