Dont count on any improvement, mores the pity. Blueblood(thanks BB) & I were there for only half-hour.Weather damage plus living in a ghost town dosent help.Still,two betting shops filled with leaflets(no,I didnt stop for a bet)& some leaflets given out in the street but no-where near enough to alter or improve tonights attendance.Just the wrong day,wrong game,wrong weather.Still,we tried.

Next time we need better timing(saturday morning) for such a handout I think, better weather and more people on the streets both potential hartsdown visitors and helpers. BB suggested a couple of our best lookers (female,obviously,if we can get them)wearing sashes.Am hoping for better results next time round.

Just drying out now ready for tonight.Be warned, half hour out there & hands were frozen.Wrap up real warm & wear your gloves if you have any. Brrr!was cold out there!

Well Cookie since you have got out of the rain it has stopped here. Have just checked the rain radar and it appears that it has now passed the Island. So hpoefully it will be dry tonight but you know wahat a good weather forecaster I am ( Chelmsford frozen pitch).
