Officials today.....

I know it has been said on here that we should not "have a go" at match officials, but today just confirmed how poor they can be.

The Referee seemed to wAnt to be the centre of attention with his fast running towards players and arm waiving.

I would imagine that BOTH teams were very frustrated with his performance.

I do not understand why he decided to "talk" to so many Dartford players including their Manager BUT book any Town player who decided to make a challenge. As for the booking of Smithy in the 95th minute - what a joke.

Added to this the Assistant doing the Darts left back in the second half made decisions which were completely unexplainable.

Oh well ....moan over, but PLEASE can the League try and get some Refs in who will let the game be played. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

Petty and attention-seeking would be the best way to discribe the ref today.The incident that led to Smithys booking happened two minutes earlier when the ref not satisfied with the fact that Smithy was 15 yards away from a free-kick ,decided to drag him back the full 20 yards. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

 

 

Dicision of the day must go to the lino in the second half,for giving a foul againt Valendia as he rounded the full-back near the corner flag.Even the ref looked shocked.

When he booked Smudger the ball was not even on the pitch for him to retreat 10 yards anyway!

We know the ESL officials and the level we are at now does appear better officialswise. But hey no officals no game.

Doesn't matter what league you're in, the Officials are always rubbish...apparantly.
