West Yorkshire weather report!

Intermittent yet heavy snow showers yesterday afternoon covered West Yorkshire in a blanket of snow. The game at Bradford has already been called off so I reckon the chances of the Halifax Town v Fleet game being 'on' are pretty slim. I live about 10miles from Halifax and we have about 2inches of snow here. 'The Shay' is situated in a slight hollow that gets little sunlight so I'd be amazed if the game went ahead.

 

The Terriers home game against Doncaster Rovers is 'on' due to our undersoil heating!

Just heard the game's off! Which is frustrating for the club but not for me because it should mean I can attend the rearranged date.

The temperature here is amazingly similar the one I left in New York yesterday. I got back late afternoon after spending 5days there on a 'research trip' with our students. Slightly jet lagged but ready for a crucial home game against Donny Rovers.

 

I hope the Fax v Fleet game is rearranged so I can attend!

Would imagine Tuesday week may be favourite - 14 March - the only other midweek options are 28/3 (not possible as Halifax play Woking then), 11/4 or 25/4.
