Not there so difficult to say exactly, but i note that their goal came from a poor corner.

 

I have posted numerous times that the tactic of full backs taking our corners especially on their 'wrong sides' of pitch, exposes defence terribly to breakaways from our attacking corners.

Our full backs can't cross the pitch to get back in time to defend .

 

This type of breakaway goal from our attacking corner was inevitably going to happen, and will happen lots of times again, if we pursue the idea of full backs taking corners on their 'non natural sides'

The way we defended corners puzzled me as their first lot were short but we never man marked the short man and as a result of this we conceded a goal and gave them a few chances.

very good point mm this has always puzzled me as well its not as if either back is particularly good at them
