a serious comment

now I know its not my business but as you all know I have an opinion on everything and this is a serious opinion regarding the 'forum ban' on the burnham players..

now I think that the burnham contingent are a good decent lively bunch of mostly football players that represent their club well and perform for their club well....regardless of any ESL clubs aspirations for this season they were always going to be up against it when we arrived....the burnham boys have done well thus far and can still win the league as well as being almost certain of promotion..they are also in the league cup semi finals...

the boys are loyal to their club and in spite of all the banter on these forums I can see no harm in anything that they post on here....they never mention their own clubs policies or talk of their officials or managers...

so kingy had a whinge up about eton manor singing...so what...it was funny and its passed....they lost a game of football....diddums..we all do from time to time and we get on with it in the next match...you never heard us bleating when bedsteds mugged us and nor did we take it out on the players....

I think that burnham have scored a major own goal here...both in PR terms as I think its small minded and churlish and also in motivational terms as I cannot believe that the players are too pleased with the events....

the credit goes to the players for abiding by their clubs officials decree....

no credit goes to the club's officials.....

this is my opinion and I am entitled to post it on here...

the club's officials are all muuuuuuugs.

perhaps making the club a laughing stock was their aim all along? if so, they should be applauded as it has certainly worked.

i take it they've also banned the highly disruptive game known as 'cushions' ...

I think The Burnham Management are a bunch of @rse wipes for banning the Burnham boys from this forum.

They are a great bunch of lads and I feel this can only shows the Burnham management in a bad light.

I don't know what they were supposed to have done, but I for one feel they have never been anything but a good example for their club and the ESL. With a ready wit and a great show of comaradary to their ESL Brothers and Sisters.

This is a sad day indeed.

Burnham you are such a bunch of pr!cks

Here here Uncs.

Further more, I question if Burnham Ramblers F.C. have the power to make this decision.

If the lads are working under "forum nicknames", and are not talking about anything involving the core business of their club or bad mouthing another club under Burnham's name, then I dodn't see how Burnham can enforce this. Presumably if the lads don't abide Burnham will kick them out.......... I wonder if they are on contract.
