March v April

Recommended Posts

On paper, not a bad month ahead with home games against Dorchester, Carshalton and Maidenhead, and away games at Yeading and Eastleigh (though those two can be tricky places to go to). Without wishing to sound too arrogant, this is a great opportunity to close the gap on the leaders.

April however, is a different matter altogether. Three home games but away fixtures at Farnborough, Weymouth and Havant will not be easy. Still, you've gotta beat 'em to win it!

We'll have to agree to disagree about that then, ES. Playing against teams scrapping for points in the relegation zone can be every bit as difficult as playing those contending for places in the play offs, IMO. The easier games are against mid table sides going nowhere and there doesn't seem to many of those left.

I seem to remember Weymouth coming unstuck at Carshalton 2 or 3 weeks ago, YB and, according to the league table, they are the top side. They also didn't fare too well at Dorchester and Maidenhead either, from what I recall.

Let's prove ourselves tomorrow and nail those three points.

The top sides win those games, Nos, whatever division they're in.

If we're to prove ourselves as a top side, we should be beating Carshalton, Maidenhead and Dorchester.

Like europe chasing clubs should be beating Sunderland <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
