AS a bit of a novelty 'unique' to Margate, and to get us a bit of a different reputation, it would be a bit of fun to get a whelk and jellied eel sellar to peddle his wares amongst the crowd at home games.

FF you div the thread says "in the Margate area" for the benefit of Dons fans. There is a Peters fish shop on Margate sea front opposite the harbour and for £1.50 for fish and chips that's very reasonable. Got to hand it to you though FF you're consistant.

There is also a Margate poster in Deans Fruit n Veg shop in York Street Ramsgate as well the Information Centre too. Both also display Ramsgate posters too, tho I must say ours look much better lol

Peters Fish & Chips are "crap". Cheap but "crap". Theres only one real good Fish & Chip shop in Thanet i.m.o.& thats Newington Road.Unfortunately its in Ramsgate & not for the benefit of us in this neck of the woods.Unless you trek over there of course,which I have done on many occasions.

I have to agree with with Cookie there Newington fish & chip shop is the best from Thanet. That is where i go when i get fish and chips and its only up the road which is convenient.
