Speechless, as I think everyone else is...

Gutted, mind you everyone always is when you let in a last gasp equaliser.

Didn't sound as if we played to clever either, and predictably the gates were down. And I still haven't finished my coursework!!

What a stinker of a night.... still, 1 point gained??? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Disappointing crowd tonight, Crawley seem to think they brought 150, didn't look that many to me. Anyway, 'always look on the bright side of life', at least it was better than SAturday. We created more, actually used a bit more width and played a bit more football. Great piece of skill from Jukebox for our goal. We are desperately missing Charlie to be our 'fox in the box' and to be there to meet anything that Jukebox or anyone else manages to get across. Promising performance from Luke Moore with a lot of decent runs at the defence. Gooding is a great defender, but I think we lack in going forward down the right with him playing, he doesn't overlap and put in a decent ball like Proths can, but the defensive abilities are the sacrifice we make I guess. Rawle was largely disappointing tonight I thought, poor hold up play and distribution but a good finish for the goal. Another thing that I noticed tonight is the confidence and awareness of the other players going forward. There was a situation where it was 4 on 4 yet our player(cannot remember who) just took a shot, which to be honest, wasn't ever going to go in. We seemed to have stooped down to Scarborough's and Crawley's low levels in the past two games. Here is to hopefully a result in Yorkshire and a decent game of football against Hereford. Or here is to another poor game against both the above teams and for the 'Daish out' crew to surface again.

As in the Canvey game we missed a host of 2nd half chances (fortunately then WE got the injury time goal). Yes we were missing Charlie Mac but we can`t keep relying on him for the points. Thought Moore did`nt play as well the one good run apart - can`t have helped with the strike partner changes. Rawle did waste a couple of final balls but he put himself about a bit. Gooding has played consistantly good for the last few games & Watkins defended well putting in some good crosses last night (unlucky with the header too). Incidentally counted the Crawley behind the goal - 75.

Sorry but you must have been watching another game! imo crap politly is the only word to discribe the whole performance of the team in general. Having charlie back will not make any differance. if the midfield cannot supply rawle and moore, then they cannot do it for him either.

It was an improvement on Saturday but still below par.

Apart from their goal, I can't remember Crawley overly troubling us. They had nothing up front really and we were cleaning up well before it was getting near our box for the most part.

We didn't get at them enough though and their equaliser was unmerited I thought.

2 points dropped last night it has to be said.

Also, the attendance was terrible but it did we got served quicker at half time :-)

This is my first season watching and (though I have been an avid reader here), my first post.

I'll have to say I was baffled at the starting line up. Drury will never be a target man - he often looks scared of his own shadow, and his set up play was sorely missed, whilst Luke Moore (good player though he will undoubtedly become) is far too lightweight to be left so exposed.

I thought that the shape and balance of the side improved immediately once Rawle came on, and our all round play was much better in the second half.

I have to agree that 3 points from our last 3 games is less than I'd hoped for and expected. Need another good run to cement us in the top half.

Having said all that, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first season so far and will be buying season tickets for me, my son and my father-in-law for next season.

(Please be gentle with me, I hope that this is the first of many posts, thanks)
