Live commenatary

Does anyone know the reason why Chas doesn't actually do live commentary on home games, simply reports?

It can't be because of cost, I assume he is getting some expenses as a freelance BBC reporter tonight, the internet channel is available, and he is doing match reports.

 

I presume it is a RK policy thing, but it is very frustrating that should you be unable to watch Fleet, it is easier to get updates from away games. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Think its purely because of the number of listeners that it would attract, CG - most people are at the game, so a webcast would only attract a handful of listeners, which the BBC dont accept is worthwhile.

Listening to the dulcit tones of Chas Webster is imfinitely better than listening to some of the dross they play on RK on the evenings,

All I got was a file to SAVE... nothing to open.

 

Being in Sydney makes it hard to know what's going on, without updates on the forum or the Football Web <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />pages results service in half an hour when it is all over.

 

NO IDEA what's going on down here except how cold it is!!!

Working with me as well - doesnt sound much better than Saturday though.

 

Rawle has just come on for Slatter with 3 mins to half time - presumably Drury drops back to midfield with Rawle & Moore up front.

Tried restarting, now just says "Connecting".

Just come back typically as I've typed this!
