Charlton assistant manager Keith Peacock is urging fans to support the efforts of neighbours Welling United.

A new agreement between the two clubs means that Addicks supporters benefit from reduced admission when the Conference South club takes on Histon tonight (7.45pm) at Park View Road.

The production of a valid Charlton season ticket will see patrons admitted for just £5.

And Peacock believes what is good for Welling and Charlton's surrounding community is good for the Addicks as well.

should we ask the Gills for a similar agreement <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" />

maybe there clubs outlook is they might be getting monies that they would not normally have, so the fans gain that way, rather than getting anything out of it on a personel level.

That's the club outlook, maybe, but the fans are only human and - as experience on this forum would tell us - are likely to moan if they think another club's fans are getting preferential treatment.
