It's 1967 and having just had a session in the Brewery celebrating Romford wiining the Southern League Championship, I get knocked over by a 250 bus in South Street........ and it was only going to the garage.

 

Anyway I am knocked out and wake up in 2006. I don't like it Romford are in the bottom half of something called the Essex Senior League, level on points with a strange sounding team called London APSA? Hornchurch are top of the same league and getting crowds of 700 (and most of them are under 75 and not a dog in sight_), Brooklands in now a housing estate. Supporters exchange banter over a thing called the internet via something called a forum. They all have weird names like Coupwhatcoup, Eastside, Uncle Urchin, and something up a tree. My beloved Romford now seem to be under the control of an alien called Zody who has a pied piper effect on the local kids.

 

I need to get back, to a time when Romford were on the verge of the Football League, Hornchurch played in fromt of 50 OAP'S and a dog and knew their place, and Kids never dared step one foot on the sacred turf. I must get back and stop Romford selling Brooklands, it will be a mistake that will haunt them for evermore.
