Both Ceefax and Sky Sports News has it as Postponed.

 

Turned out I wasn't the first to query it with the Club.

 

When I left home at Midday, Ceefax and BBC web had it on but Sky still said off.

 

Notice tonight Sky have now caught up!

If this about the Crawley game then it's tonight. However the weather girls are saying that temperature will drop to zero degrees C by about 18:00 so don't hold your breath.

I by no means want the game to be called off but it would be hilarious to see it called off at 18:00 with the Crawley fans again having travelled all that way.

If it,s going to be freezing tonight and games on, i just hope thats it,s so much better than saturdays.will drive me nuts otherwise and seems so much colder when your losing or game is rubbish.

Unfortunately I can't be there tonight due to work, I will be in the freezing North in a hotel in Wigan.

 

Sounds like it could well be the freezing South too.

 

But to those who are going, I hope that the game is an improvement on Saturday and the team pick-up another 3 points.

Yes just suddenly out of the blue started snowing in meopham too (really lightly though). However there is no chance in a million years it will settle here nor there and and I am positive the game will be on tonight, just to put the minds that can't be there at rest.

Gravesend v Crawley

Gravesend's Danny Slatter should be fit to play after a knee injury, while Jimmy Jackson faces a late fitness test on a back injury.

Jay Saunders (back) and Charlie MacDonald (knee) have returned to training and could be available.

 

Crawley's recent signing Gavin Gordon could come in for a starting place in place of Steve Burton.

 

Meanwhile Simon Wormull (ankle) is struggling while striker Omari Coleman (abdominal injury) is definitely out.

Snowing hard here right now....vert hard - hardest it's been all day.

 

I expect it to stop again soon though.

 

It's not the snow that's an issue - it's the temperature that will dictate if the game goes ahead.

Sadly I will not be there. The absolute latest I can leave my house and make kick off is 19:00. So I shall keep my eyes on the web for an on/off decision. I don’t fancy driving all the way up to Gravesend (again) just to find the game is off due to a frozen pitch or 20 feet of snow or whatever!!!
