50 years of the UK singles chart

50 Years ago today the first UK singles chart was published which was a top 10 only with Al Martino at #1 with here in my heart.what are readers all time favourite single from the last 50 years?

 

mine would be the walker Borothers "The Sun aint gonna shine anymore" alledgedly the record playing playing on the juke box in the blind beggar PH when george cornwell shot Jack the hat Mcvitie on whitechapel road.

I remember seeing some bloke doing that Karaoke style while I was in Magaluf.
