Wealdstones report was a hit biased. You would have thought that they had lost by the odd liucky goal. It doesn't mention the amount of chances that the gate made in the second half and that Hockton had one attempt cleared off the line and then put over the bar after beating the keeper. Also match was played by two poor teams, I don't think so. I thought the stones looked good in the first half but were second to most balls in the second. Margate actually came out and tried to increase the lead yesterday instead of sitting back and defending. They did have chances but didn't take them and that is what it is all about.

It was the strangest 4-0 I have ever seen. If Hockton had been in Wealdstone's team we would have lost - he was that good.

They had the slight edge in the first half but out of three shots we scored two goals. They battered us for 20 minutes at the start of the second half, but luckily for us their defence is terrible and the two breakway goals killed the game. Best not to get carried away just yet.
