How's this:

Striker who originally arrived at Hendon in 2001 from Ware, for whom he scored 24 goals during the previous season. Ricci had begun to look a great prospect when an injury sustained at Gravesend during season 2001/02 put him on the sidelines with ligament damage. He returned to contention in January 2002 and went on to become the club's leading goalscorer for season 2002/03 with 21 goals to his credit. Ricci left Claremont Road for Cheshunt in 2004 but returned in October 2005 from Braintree Town. Has completed over 130 appearances and is approaching the 50 goal mark.

The Gazette also suggests dave hunt, also from Hendon:

Returned to Hendon in September 2005 after a short stint at Enfield. Dave, a midfielder, originally joined Hendon in the summer of 2003 from Ware where he was youth team captain as well as making appearances in their first team. He made his Hendon debut in the FA Cup tie against Enfield in September 2003. Has completed over 50 appearances.

Before you all get to excited i must tell you Sponser of Beer has not got all the facts,Ricci damaged his cruicuit knee ligaments in his friendly with Town when you played them at Theobalds beginning of last season and spent rest of season in recovery.he,s played a few games this season but he is now out with further knee problems, very good friend of mine but i honestly don't think he'll be back to the great player he was because of type of injury <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

I've no problem with buying players awiating suspention ,or who are currently injured IF they are good players.Just remember if those players were not awiting suspention or currently injured, many other clubs would probably be after their signature as well. Its a calcultaed gamble, and once Forbes suspention is over and once Crace gets fit, it could really help us in our push during the last two months of the season.

Not the first time I've heard that from EFC! But let's see if he fits better with Town. I seem to recall you guys thought that of David Allen and I have always enjoyed watching him.
