I did wonder, unfortunately Slough completely failed to use the wind as an advantage. Must have been a fairly entertaining game though.

moan moan moan are you related to my wife by any chance, go to MAIDENHEAD or BEACONSFIELD and take your 25k and see how welcome travellers are. Most pitches are in a bad way except WEXHAM PARK. but then its hardly used from season to season.

I think that comments to Windsor about the pitch have really got to stop ! We know what a hammering its taking and I am sure if we were at Wexham Park playing the same number of games the pitch there too would be in a bad state ! I agree that a little more should be invested into it, and windsor know this themselves and don't have to be reminded !

 

We are greatful we are playing at Windsor and the people there are the best ! and I mean that...

 

We have been welcomed and helped all the way ! so Please stop this contant dig at our hosts.. friendly rivalary yes...but constant reminders to them about their pitch NO !

 

we have to get on with it...and stop moaning...

Actually the pitch was in pretty good condition considering the weeks weather.

The pitch wasn't the problem, it was just the wind that we failed to get to grips with.

He was great! We gave him stick for his lovejoy style hair cut all game and he speaks to us in the bar afterwards and goes "Who's Tim Lovejoy?" Musn't of paid him enough to get sky sports!
