Updates today from Wealdstone

What a brilliant game. I will not go too much into it but Danny could have had 4 or 5. Wealdstone looked a good side in the first 25 minutes and i thought we were going to have our work cut out to beat them. We then scored and settled down. Then we got a free kick about 2 yards out on the right corner of the area and Hockton fired it straight into the top left hand corner of the goal. You won't see a much better free kick than that. Second half we just dominated and won nearly everything. we still had a few scary moments and I think that the stones hit the bar in the first half and the post in the second but we looked a real class side in the second. Danny had a goal kicked off the line and went close on a number of occasions. All players played really well and I think the Standen knockers have finally been silenced as he seems to improve each game. Excellent away support again with about 70 at the game.

I really enjoyed the game and i am so gland i went. I thought it was a brilliant result with a decent performance to go with it. I have to say Wealdstone were unlucky but you get punished if you dont finish of your chances. Brayley nearly made 5-0 but his lob was saved of the line. We could have scored about 7 today, but i will settle for four. I have to say it is the worst ground i have seen in my life.

Self quote

"Forest score 7(true). Gate win. Correct score on afternoons Rugby. Seems a bit of luck for me too today as well as ALL of you Margate fans.

Go bet on Williams in the boxing tonight 2/1 outsider of two. Moneys down!!"

WILLIAMS on POINTS. Whoopee! The end to a real good day (apart from having to go to work of course).Cracker of a fight too.

Did anyone else notice Takaloo(the boxer) congratulating the winner on the ropes at ringside.Wonder how he got on tonight as he was on the same bill. Anyone know?

Just seen this from tonight. Takaloo wins!!

Former WBO jr middleweight challenger, Takaloo, now fighting as a welterweight, pitched a 100-90 shutout on all cards against Turgay Uzun over ten.
